Our clinic is a Patient-Centered Clinic

Here at KIMS Clinic patients are our first priority. We care deeply about the health and happiness of each individual and seek to work together in partnership. This in mind, each patient is encouraged to play an active role in his/her own health. Guided by the doctor, each patient will be asked to evaluate their current health and healthcare needs, allowing the doctor to best assess the patient in the context of their perception of the illness, together with how our medical service can best help.

Each patient will receive information about their diagnosis, the prognosis as well as symptom management. With the doctor taking into consideration emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing, the patient will be listened to, respected and involved in the whole healthcare process.

By working together in partnership where a therapeutic relationship is established, each patient will receive the care and attention that they need and deserve. Combining this with our empathetic approach and clear communication, each patient is equipped to reach their best treatment outcomes.

Whilst caring for patient’s as individuals KIMS Clinic has a strong interest in the health promotion of the entire community. Through the use of education, counseling and patient-empowerment we believe that we can help improve the health and wellbeing of those in the community.

We understand the important role a balanced diet and regular exercise play in reducing metabolic and cardiovascular diseases and seek to encourage positive lifestyle changes amongst our patients. This includes encouraging smoking cessation, reduction in alcohol consumption and the avoidance of polluted environments.

Our Clinic is an International Clinic

KIMS Clinic is an outpatient clinic that provides up-to-date and comprehensive medical care to people of all nationalities. With highly qualified medical staff and the latest technology, KIMS Clinic manages all types of medical conditions, seeing patients from young to old. Our areas of specialty include Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, ENT, Orthopedics, Radiology, Pain Medicine, Urology, Dermatology and Neurology, This is because Vietnam's only 'five Korean specialists with rich clinical experience' provide treatment.

Coming to the clinic, patients will find themselves in a multicultural setting. With medical staff from all over the world, our team is able to communicate in several languages including Korean, Vietnamese, English and Filipino. This diversity enables us to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life, ensuring that the highest quality of care is provided.

All our services are delivered in accordance with international standards, both medical and ethical. With a focus on the academic and professional development of our doctors, nurses and technicians, we seek to continually enhance the quality of the care we provide.

Not only does the clinic care for each individual on a professional level, but we’re also interested in the health promotion of the entire community. Through education and counseling, we believe we can promote the health of those in the community by helping improve their lifestyle and health behaviors.

It is proven that a balanced/healthy diet and regular exercise play an important role in reducing metabolic and cardiovascular diseases. A healthy lifestyle includes the cessation of smoking and the reduction of alcohol intake and environmental pollutants where possible (i.e. air pollution). With a holistic viewpoint we understand that health also involves emotional, spiritual and social aspects, and we seek to improve these also.

Charity Clinic

In conjunction with Hanoi Evangelical Church (HEC), free medical services are provided to those in needs through a charity medical clinic that takes place every week at HEC, in Ngo Tram Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.

KIM’S Clinic’s plays main activities and supports most of the expenses for these humanitarian medical activities. The objective of the charity clinic is serving the poor, the lonely, and the disabled whom Jesus Christ commanded us to care with loving touch.

The activities of this charity clinic are also supported by Bon Love, one of the Korean NGOs.

Global Health Center

The doctors of the clinic teach and lead an international medical course for medical students at Thai Nguyen Medical University. The course is related to global health and it is sponsored by Yonsei University College of Medicine in Korea.

The course is designed to equip the medical students with understanding and knowledge about the main global health issues, so they might be prepare to play an important role in the improvement of the health services in Vietnam.
