Exercise

It is always recommended to avoid physical inactivity; no matter how you exercise it is true that any kind of exercise is better than none, and any amount of physical activity gain some health benefits.

Health professionals are keen to encourage patients to exercise regularly, at least 150 minutes a week of moderate-intensity (i.e. walking, swimming, or cycling), or 75 minutes a week of vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity (i.e. jogging, singles tennis, swimming continuous laps, or cycling uphill), or an equivalent combination of moderate- and vigorous-intensity aerobic activity. Aerobic activity should be performed in episodes of at least 10 minutes, and preferably, it should be spread throughout the week.
